The harshest criminals deserves the harshest treatment. Therefore Deathrow inmates are punished harshest of them all.
A death row cell has the same shape as a Solitary Confinement Cell. By this it means a small bare cell with just a floor to lay on. The inmate will
not wear any clothes except diapers. The diapers will be changed very rarely so the diapers will often be dripping full which adds a nasty feeling to the inmate.
The inmate will wear hinged handcuffs behind back the handcuffs will also be attatched to a waist chain on the inmate. Hinged ankle cuffs
will be applied and these will be attatched with a chain to the wall. These restraints makes it nearly impossible to move. Deathrow inmates is also
forced to stand up for 20 hours a day. This is two hours more than Solitary Confinement inmates. One great problem for the inmates
is when their four hours of floor time is over and they must rise again. With hinged hand- and ankle cuffs it is nearly impossible to rise and it takes
a lot of energy. One meal a day is served, a small portion av porridge. The ration is calculated to be so small as possible, but still enogh so the inmate
survives untill her excecution. No air time is allowed so the prisoner is in principle placed in her cell all the time until her excecution.
However they deserves it and the prison boards wish with the deathrow cells is that they should be so harsh that the prisoners begins to wait
for their excecutions so this hell could end.
